About us
We met in the summer of 2022 in London. Henry was working for IBM as a Cyber Security consultant, with Suzie working at Which? as a Product Designer. Shortly after getting to know each other, Henry started his PhD at University of Cambridge with the British Antarctic Survey, and a year later Suzie moved to Cambridge with Henry and started her Masters degree at UCL.
After a busy year of travel around Europe, Henry's work took him to New Zealand, once he returned Henry proposed slightly jet-lagged on a hike in the Lake District before New Years Eve 2023 and promptly went on field season to South Georgia for three months a week later.
Whilst wedding planning across hemispheres with fur seals in the background of vendor calls, we decided to add to the chaos and bought our first home together in a village south of Cambridge. One surprise house renovation later, we're delighted to have a calmer year of only getting married, submitting Master's dissertation and PhD thesis as the big life events for August and September.
